YouTube style Full-Screen Button for Graph View

I work mainly in Graph View and during today had the completely daft idea that if only I could get it full screen a la YouTube it would be brilliant.
Had to share it

Maybe no good for people on tablets or phones but on a 27" screen marvellous

Well, there is not a single-click option. But if you turn of all the checkboxes at the top of the Charts view mode’s View menu and choose the Full Screen checkbox, then it is somewhat similar.

However, while Graph View toolbar has Zoom in/out, most Charts view modes lack that feature. So the full-screen value is reduced for them.

Does pressing the existing shortcut/keybinding for full screen not work not for you?

What operating system are you on as the shortcut differs by operating system see first entry of the Handy Shortcuts section:

Thanks Brian yes but is a bit of a faff one button that set all those
values whether on or off as appropriate takes you almost there.
In fact F11 (Function Key F11) programmed to do just that. So
Navigator,Toolbar, Sidebar, and Bottombar all turned off and on as
appropriate with F11.

Having problems parsing that last posting.

Are you saying F11 affects those other splitbar (sidebar, bottombar, Navigator sidebar, toolbar) settings on your system? It does not do so on my 5.2.1 Gramps on Fedora.

Nor would I want it to do so. (I often use Sidebar and Bottombar gramplets to work in combination with the main view in Full-screen.) A modified F11 (Ctrl or Shift) to hide/reveal those might be nice. But there would be the complication of layered states of hiding.

Apologies Brian
No F11 currently does not affect any of those but from my point of view
there would be significant benefit in it doing so.
Really to increase the viewing area of the View and would only be
functions available on “right click”. If I needed Gramplets etc then F11
restores.
Got the idea from watching my grandson he is and out of Full Screen like
“greased lightning”
