Yritän luoda wikiin suomenkielisen aloitussivun “A” Gramps 6-versioon. Lähtökohta on englanninkielinen Gramps sivu. Sen “Lanquages” valikossa on “suomi”, joka viittaa “Main page/fi” sivuun. Se viittaa nyt Gramps 3-version sivuun.

Wiki Main page translation problem

I am trying to create a Finnish homepage “A” for the Gramps 6 version. The starting point is an English Gramps page. Its “Lanquages” menu has “suomi” which refers to the “Main page/fi” page. It now refers to the Gramps 3 version page.

How do I name the Gramps 6 page “A”?

How do I copy the content of the Gramps page so that I can translate it and drop it into page “A”?

I have translated a lot of other Gramps wiki pages and “Edit”>Copy works on them. There is a problem with the Main page, because “Edit” only gives a notification

I tried to translate finnish template for 6.0.5 as provided by Patsy. For unknown reason Preview or Save did not work. Here my “suomi” text:

I’ve reverted back to the original name of the template as it called “Release” not “Julkaisu”.

And added “/fi” to the end for your languages version of the template.
