Use Marriage Display Format to show marriage status?

Hello, I’m on Ubuntu and Gramps 5.1.5.

I’m using the Descendant Tree report, and under Marriage Display Format how do I make it show as either Married or Divorced? Currently I have to use Married {$m}<and> {Divorced $v} to make it show “Married and Divorced” for divorced people. For some people I don’t have dates to their marriage and want to rather show marriage status. And $m is used to get the marriage date rather than marriage status.

I hope I made it clear. Thanks

Perhaps we could add $r to return the relationship type?

Hello, what would the marriage type return if there’s a divorce event? Since it still shows Married in the Family dialogue.

EDIT. As a workaround I’m using the Replace function like so: Married and Divorced/ Divorced
