I haven’t found any documentation on using TodoReport except for this one, but it seems to be non-compliant with my version 1.2.36 Addon:ToDoReport - Gramps After contacting at least one other person (Windows + Gramps 5.2.2) has the same empty report problem.
The help for the To Do Report says, " The Todo Report prints any note attached to person, family, place, etc." and using the Gramps Sample family tree data, that seems to work, as long as the notes are attached to a person.
@bjc49 Are the 141 notes you showed in a screenshot, attached to a person, family, place,…? If they are standalone notes, they will not be included in the report.
To investigate further: are you able to reproduce this problem with the Gramps Sample family tree?
