The Help is starting to have topics that might inhibit newbies from posting questions. The content might inspire fear of being mocked for asking “too basic” of a question. (Not there IS such a thing as “too basic.”)
That is one of the good points about the Maillist. New subscribers don’t see previous messages. (Since learning to search the archives is an advanced topic in using maillists!) So there are fewer preconceptions to battle.
If a new category is created, I can shuffle out some of the threads with scarier titles.
