Hello Nick,

Another test reply!
Quote line 2
Comment on second quote.
All good from this end.
Forgot to mention that I removed empty lines from quoted section, for brevity.

Sorry for the confusion.
Quotes seem to work in email replies if you keep them simple.
Testing a reply via email in plain text mode.
Dunno if youâre seeing the same problem with hyperlinks. So hereâs a capture from the Yahoo mail app on mobile Android (Motorola Xâ´)
Perhaps markdown would work better? The texted to be linked in square brackets followed immediately with the URL in parentheses.

Hereâs a nice piece on backticks; the âliteralâ (like HTML <pre> <code>
tags) equivalent for overriding automatic reformatting in Discourse:

Testing a reply via email in HTML mode.
Iâve replied twice in this thread via email â once in plain text, once in HTML mode â neither have displayed the quotes. In this reply, Iâm using the website.
Nice!
If you reply by email and realize youâve typed a typo (or committed a gaff), you can go into the Discourse topic & edit it. If you catch the item within the âcensoring delayâ, you can edit (or retract!) the message. And that means that the people âfollowingâ the topic or in âmailing list modeâ will only see the revised material.
Nick, how big is the delay window? (Might be a coincidental effect of where we are in the Sidekiq scheduler. For instance, if Sidekiq posted a mailjob every 15 minutes, on the quarter-hour; a user could easily tweak their error recâd by Discourse at 9:02 but not necessarily the one at 9:14:30!)

It is configurable. The current setting is 10 minutes.
Just another test.
Just looked at stats. One of the items was a count of number of topics marked âsolvedâ or â best answerâ
Looks like that is a plugin for Discourse
Is that a feature you think we need?
It is already installed and enabled in the âSupportâ category.
