Narrated Web Report and OSM maps

Gramps 5.1.6 on Win10/64 (I cannot use a newer version of Gramps due to performance issues)

Using the Narrated Web Report with OSM as map provider produces only an empty black frame where the map should be. I browsed a lot of discussions here and on the Bug Tracker and my understanding is that this is the consequence of some changes in the used API. The issue appears to be solvable by hacking some local Gramps py modules but I haven’t found any clear instructions for 5.1.6. Can somebody please help me?

TIA – Ulrich

Found an old post with the fix.

I found this as well but my understanding was that this hack is applicable to v6.2. So I probably misunderstood something. Thanks, I’ll give it a try!

This version number is related to the openlayers libraries. It is gramps independant. So this will work with all gramps version.
