Actually I am using freuently dynamic Web-report and dynamic Web-report as well. However after installing gramps version 6.0.0.0 dynamic web report does not work anymore. I can start dynamic web report like before, it finishes without any error message, but faster than previously. The resulting folder/Files are the js and html-files (index, Media, places, surname, …) in the main directory. However all of these html-files are completely empty. The data directory is empty as well, the image directory includes als images associated with the database.
I am using gramps 6.0.0.0 in german with OS Windows 11. Of course I am updating all addOns before starting gramps.
Maybe someone has a hint what I can do about it. If not I have to issue a mantis ticket.
It works perfectly for me on linux.
Do you have errors ?
Actually no error reported.
I did a complete uninstall of gramps (also old versions) and reinstall, selected other filter than whole database for the report, Always the same empty result.
everything worked fine before with previous versions of gramps. Maybe it is related to the change of schema from version 18 Format to Version 21 which has been done when first using gramps 6.0.0
I am waiting another week for responses and will issue a mantis ticket if so solution.
Also works fine for me on Mac using 6.0.0
Do you have any filters selected? There were some changes to the filters in 6.0, and it is possible that filters set up in previous versions may not be working correctly.
The “Filter” option is on the first tab of the report options. Try the “Entire Database” setting. I would also check that all other settings make sense for your needs, in case the options got messed up in the upgrade.
