Is it possible to automate adding coats of arms? E.g. if an entire family branch (all male-line descendants of an ancestor) has the same coat of arms is it somehow possible to add just one picture and assign it as a profile picture to all members of that line? Doing it manually would be very time-consuming.
This would not “automate” the process but you can add an image in a batch operation using the Avatar Generator Tool.
Personally, I have not used the tool. It appears to have two options; a single image, and different images based upon the gender of the person.
As always, make sure to have a current backup especially when making batch edits.
