Debian 11 gramps5.1.3
Your media files are in a folder named after the gpkg file, and that sits inside your home folder. Its contents may be a bit messy, when you have media files with absolute paths, because then they are unpacked with the full pats relative to that folder, leading to very long actual paths.
And if you want, there is always an escape, because if you rename the .gpkg file to .gz, you can open it with your archive manager, which will either show you a .gramps file that has the tree without media, and all media files, or a .tar file holding the whole lot.
And any time to you see a weird path, an know where the files actually are, you can use the Media Manager to replace the folder names as they were stored in your tree with folder names that actually work.
What those names are is unknown to me, but you can see them in the media list, and the file manager, so you should be able to figure that out.
Enno dank u wel en nu zien of ik het path kan wijzigen. Je hoort het wel rt
