Available Updates for Addons

Maybe it’s so very obvious that I can’t find it, but is there really no way to get updates only to addons installed? A seemingly very natural and useful functionality.
Every update attempt gives a list of ‘Available Gramps Updates for Addons’. All the ones not installed and hidden are persistently suggested there. Box is not ticked, but I still have to click through all the categories to see if there is an update to an addon I use.

Not a big issue, but mildly irritating…

I just installed all of them because of this…

Could bug report 13184 be about the same issue you are both experiencing ( that I don’t have) wonder what is different for you both?

I’m on Gramps 5.2.3 on Windows 10.

Isn’t that what the updated addons only does in the Scheduled update checks does in the Settings tab of the Addon Manager ? (I’m not sure because I just install them all, like @StoltHD is doing. )

What to check: so when you check for updates, it checks for:

  • Updated addons only - does not check for new addons

Please confirm if it actually works that way. (It was a guess!)
