Alternative Names in Detailed Reports

To capture the fact that people were often known in later life with their titles, although not born with them, I put the name with the title (Dr, Sir, etc.) as an alternative name. The Name format I choose in Preferences is Title Given SURNAME Suffix. The alternative name for any individual then shows the title.

When I produce a Detailed ancestor or descendant report, however, and choose to show alternative names (on the Include (2) tab), the alternative names show but they don’t include the Title.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

I have been testing this bug and various fixes. But I am not a programmer so was trying duplicate what other reports do for this exact scenario. I looked at the Complete Individual Report. To do the same thing, the reports are doing it differently. The Detailed Ancestor Report and the Detailed Descendant Report even do it differently producing the same error.

I suggest you file a bug report.
