Displaying Name Fields

I’d like to do the following in displaying a person in a report (e.g., descendant tree graphical report) or graph:

  • Use the format “Surname Given-Name” – without the “,” in between
  • Include the personal title (if available) – preferably on a separate line after the name

I tried searching but have not found any reference of separate variables for the name components and title toward accomplishing the above

Any pointer/suggestion would be appreciated.

The Display Name Editor is your starting point for customizing this name in the GUI.

The field names are listed in the Names portion of the Gramps Data Model diagram.
