Just as all citations have a source, all sources [can] have a repository (whether or not you use repositories or find them helpful is a totally separate discussion ). I really enjoy the “Citation Tree” view in the Source navigator which rolls up all of the citations from a certain source.
Would it be possible in the current architecture to make another view in the Source (or Repository) tab that has 3 levels of roll up? Repository → Source → Citation.
Right now, I need to go into the source to remember which has the correct repository when making a citation. I’d rather not add a repository indicator to the source name, e.g., “US Texas Births 1907-1933: Ancestry” but a generic name like “US Ohio Deaths” doesn’t quickly show me if I got this from Family Search or the Bureau of Vital Statistics. Mirroring the “Citation Tree” or just adding that top level to it would solve this nicely, and mirror the excellent organization in the Places tab.
