I have many group photos for my tree. Some include just one or both parents and their own children – I put those into the appropriate Family Gallery. What are the best place(s) to put group photos containing various mixtures of cousins, aunts, uncles, siblings, parents, grandparents, etc.?
Why not in an event like “Family Reunion” shared with each of the people present in the photo? If you have the date and the place so much the better, if not too bad, it does not prevent you from creating the event which did indeed take place as proven by the photo (which can be the media for that event and a source associated to that event)
You can also just put the photo into a person’s gallery tab. When you share it with each person’s record that is in the photo you can tag that person’s face in the photo.
For most photos I will put the initial photo in the Family gallery and then share it with each individual. But if it is just a collection of people without a discernable “family” connection, the photo can just be shared by each person in the photo.
