I have used the program earlier, but today when I start all is gray. I think I saw something blinked that says database is locked. But as far as I remember I could earlier come in and choose what database i wanted. Someone has a clue/idea?

Go to the database manager, select the database with the lock symbol and select unlock.
Where to find that? Everything is grey and no menue is accessable.
Sounds like a modal dialog is open and somehow has become hidden under other floating windows.
Click on any Gramps window and then Press the escape key (Esc) to ‘Cancel’ that modal dialog.
