V5.2 beta - Bad Note Link found - what does that mean?

Running today’s master, a.k.a. 5.2 beta on LMDE 5 …

After importing the latest backup of my working tree in master, Check & Repair told me that it found and corrected a few dozen errors with notes, for which I saw this text in terminal:

WARNING: check.py: line 2542: FAIL: Bad Note Link found, Person: handle: ...

Running Check & Repair on the same tree in 5.1 showed no errors all, so now I’m curious. What does this mean? Should I be worried about the original?

It means that you have a “gramps://” type link in a note, and the object that it points to no longer exists.
