I would like to add a new type below the maintype of religion. Can I do that (if so how)
Religion > Baptism
REligion > Blessing
Religion > MyNewType
Adding a new custom type in the Gramps interface does not support placing a new item within the pre-defined subgroupings.
Each new custom type is inserted at the top-level and is listed at the end of the list with the other custom types.
To add something in the grouping of the pre-defned Event types would require hacking the hard-coded entries. Then you would need to experiment to determine if it needed to be in an ‘event fallback’ grouping or caused any conflicts elsewhere.
