Reset default preferences

Hey, can I reset the preferences to the default settings?

I was scrolling through the preferences window and hovered over some dropdown menus while scrolling and I think I changed some stuff.

Windows, GrampsAIO64 5.2.4

You can delete the gramps.ini file to reset the preferences. A new one will be created for you with default settings.

I suggest that you take a backup of the old file for reference and comparison.

Deleting the gramps52/gramps.ini will do a reset provided that you did not upgrade from another version. But is there is an older gramps.ini version available (such as gramps51/gramps.ini) then those old settings will used in the restoration.

@Nick-Hall
Will the validation of an empty, new file named gramps.ini repopulate with the commented defaults? Or will is repopulate from a previous version? Or will it just leave it blanks until a configurable item is changed?

I am assuming that configurations are cached data, only written to file when Gramps is shut down normally?

Thanks, that worked!
