It is interesting that there are 2 addon Exporters for GEDCOM (GED2 and Geneanet dialects) but no example of an Importer.
However, there is an Importer for the gwplus Geneanet format.
It seems like there would be more potential for collaborative improvement if there was a shared addon Importer too.
