I can’t reproduce this error. Does it actually install anything? Does it work after restarting Gramps?

I found the problem here. We only allow stable addons to be loaded unless Gramps is started in developer mode (without the -O flag). This is a bug which I will fix in v5.2.1.

For now, the easiest way to test this addon is to edit the .gramps/gramps52/plugins/CiteEnhanced/citeenhanced.gpr.py file and change “BETA” to “STABLE”.
