Is there a way of asking Gramps to export full size (or full quality) images of people on the Relationship Graph report? It seems to only export very low resolution thumbnails. Particularly where the thumbnail was already a crop from a larger group photo, the result has what looks like severe JPEG encoding artifacts.
I am aware this will make the resulting PDFs much larger - that’s fine.
I am aware the added resolution will not be apparent when viewing the whole PDF at default zoom - this is also fine, because the graph I want to export is already quite large, so zooming is required (and zooming is quite natural on pinch-to-zoom displays).
This report uses small thumbnails (as the option label says) rather than the full images. I believe that the developer found too many images were excessively large and is made the report too unresponsive.)
There are several previous discussions where users have saved the output (of various views and reports) to object oriented drawing formats. Then they post-processed the small thumbnail image paths to either the larger thumbnail or the original image path.
found PR#245 : added an option for changing the thumbnail size from normal to large in gvfamilylines.py
