Yes, the user opened up two issues which was well-meant but not a good idea Deleting Enclosing parent causes 500 error on children · Issue #471 · gramps-project/gramps-webapi · GitHub.

I’ll add a comment to the documentation at Get Help - Gramps Web that users should not open a ticket on MantisBT unless one of the developers confirms that the issue they encountered resides in Gramps core (which is rarely the case).
