Currently running GrampsAIO64-5.2.3-r1-aa03f5a on Windows 10.
I have not used Gramps for a couple of years and want to create family trees the way I used to. The tree had no boxes around individuals, solid lines to descendants and siblings, and dashed lies to spouses. I believe I used Descendants Trees or Descendants Lines, but I cannot now reproduce the effect with either. An image of a tree fragment is attached.
Any clues on how to reproduce this are greatly appreciated.
Thank you. Iām pretty sure that is where it came from. Now all I have to do is get Descendant Lines to do it again. Iāve gone back to Linux Fedora 40 KDE under which I did all the initial work and was able to generate the tree as I wanted. I just need to reconfigure the styles to the same as before. Thanks again.
Did you save a āBookā with the customized report?
I keep a placeholder Person of surname āGrampsā to anchor Notes containing customization, āSuperTool Scriptā. Media attachments can include report_options.xml, books.xml and custom_filters.xml files or other items that are omitted from backups. Archival clones of those items can be transcribed to Notes when it becomes necessary to reduce clutter.
This allows those āomissionsā to be included with backups that include media. Note that you might have to connect the placeholder person to your core tree so that they are not filtered out in an export. Making them Private probably is not an option since that filters that person out of many exports.
