Hi, I’ve installed Photo Tagging Gramplet, and i cant find it. I’ve searched everything but i still cant find it, do I need to do something to activate it? I’ve looked at docs, but there is no mention of such thing.
If you click the Wiki button in the Photo Tagging Gramplet’s listing in the Addon Manager, the Usage section of its page in the user guide says that this is a Media category gramplet. Which means that it is not listed in the sidebar/bottombar for other categories.
(You didn’t miss something. One of the current shortfalls of the Addon system is that it does not identify where that item can be found in the interface.)
Since you are running Windows, you should note that the Wiki docs also have an important caveat for Windows users.
The automatic face detection feature requires the OpenCV and numpy libraries.
You can still use the primary method of dragging a select marquee. (The automatic dection makes the rectangle too tight for a thumbnail anyway. I like a broader-sized rectangle that includes the hair, ears and collar for my thumbnails.)
