Oops, I deleted the txt file because I thought it could be deleted? And if I show you a screenshot of my files, you would see a lot of my files, which I do not want to post on an open forum?
Is this sufficient? I took the deleted file out of the trash ![]()
Ok. That helps. (So it is either Linux or macOS, not MS Windows.)
Your database path in Preferences is set to :
/home/annabelle/.gramps/grampsdb
but your database (in folder 68e2ca50) is in:
.local/share/gramps/grampsdb ( which resolves to ~/.local/share/gramps/grampsdb or /home/annabelle/.local/share/gramps/grampsdb)
Try setting the preferences to:
/home/annabelle/.local/share/gramps/grampsdb
Yes I use Linux. Okay Ihave pasted it in the Yes it works!! ![]()
Thank you!! I will copy paste this info (because I saw I had exactly the same problem last year which Enno - may his soul rest in peace - helped solve).

I’m glad you have worked it out. Congratulations!
You might want to put a WhenTreesAreMissing.txt file in the .gramps/grampsdb folder with a reminder to yourself about the solution. And a URL to this thread.
