I want to add on a record a PDF document (birth certificate for example).
How do i do this ?

For the birth event, you add your pdf in the tab of the events gallery
OK - I saw this, but when i include my .PDF, it returns empty - is there something else to do ?
(my .PDF comes out a scanner)

When a PDF is added in Media, there is no thumbnail image of the document. A generic document icon is displayed.
If I am scanning a document like a birth certificate, I will always save it as an image (jpg) file. If it is two sided, both images are saved then I combine them into one image file. The sizes of the images will determine if the combined image will be horizontal (side-by-side) or vertical.
I use the PDF format if scanning a textual biographical document.
