Where do I store a PDF document for a person?

You can store a PDF file as a media object in the “Gallery” tab.

I handle any PDF document the same as I handle any image (jpg, png, etc) files.

Notice, Gramps has the Media view. It does not specify that it is limited to image files. It includes my pdf files, audio or video files.

As to where to include them for a person, media records can only attach directly in a Gallery tab. Depending on the information in the PDF could determine if it goes in the person’s gallery tab, an event’s gallery or maybe a citation’s gallery.

Not all reports that handle gallery information will include in an event’s or citation’s gallery. This may influence which gallery tab will hold the media record.
