BTW, is there a better place for posting this, maybe a separate Gramps Web bug tracker?
WHAT I DID:
- Signed up on Grampshub
- Created a second user (for permission testing purposes)
- Logged in as this user and changed the UI language to English
WHAT HAPPENED:
- The new language setting was also applied to the owner account
WHAT I EXPECTED:
- “UI language” is a setting that is individual for users
Gramps 5.1.6
Gramps Web API 1.6.0
Gramps Web Frontend 24.2.0

multi-tree: true

Hi,
UI language is a setting for an individual device; it is stored locally in the browser.
Concerning your original question, you can find all information here: Get Help - Gramps Web
However since this was just a question, posting it in the forum was exactly the right thing to do

EDIT: I found out that the home person is also stored in the browser, like the UI language.
WHAT I DID:
- Signed up on Grampshub
- Created a second user (for permission testing purposes)
- Logged in as this user and changed the home person to someone else in the family tree
WHAT HAPPENED:
- The new Home Person setting was also applied to the owner account
WHAT I EXPECTED:
- “Home Person” is a setting that is individual for users
