When changing Map Service providers in Gramps 6, the application spontaneously exited.
The following message has no diagnostic value for me. Does it suggest anything to anyone else?
--- Running report_uReport ---
Problem comes from unpackaged executable. Unable to create uReport.
('report_uReport' exited with 1)
I assume this was in the Places or Place Tree views’ Select a Map Service in the tool icons.
What was the original service and which service were you attempting to select?
After rereading the thread title I now think you is changing the maps in the Geography
view.
Which map set did you attempt to load?
For the record, I have no such problem. Loaded all the maps available with no problem. 6.1 beta on Win10.
I was in the “Have these two families been able to meet?” Geography view modes and was repeatedly switching between Map Services. (Trying to find the ones that had ocean depth variances.) I was at the 4 tile size (about 1" is 2000 km). I’d just run down the list twice and was in Virtualearth sat and switching to Maps For Free.
I am unable to repeat the exit.
