Show alternative place name on a person?

I enter something like this as multiple events.

Military Service from date to date with description U.S. Army
Military Service from date to date with description Duty Station Place
Military Service from date to date with description Military Deployment Place
etc

So for example

Military Service, 1987-1988, Recruit School, Location 1
Military Service, 1987-1988, Submarine, Location 2

The first event I would put the overall start and end dates and the Branch of service.

Here are two examples.

The one for the U.S. Navy, the place location is the home port of the ship. Obviously this level of detail will not always be available.

In this case for me, the overall start date is 1987 and end date 1988, and I dont know when really the two things ended and started exactly.

But I will keep that in mind for other people if I stumble across it, might do something similar when it comes to another thing that is not military.
