Gramps Graph View Profiles V1.0 is now available.

This independent extension adds Standard and View profiles to the Graph View add-on for Gramps 6.0.

Main features include:

- reusable Standard profiles

- named View profiles

- startup profile selection

- temporary profile use with restoration

- ProfileTag filtering

-validation of profile files and saved people

-optional Danish translation

The project has been tested with Gramps 6.0.8 on Windows 11 and Zorin OS 18.1 Core. macOS has not been tested.

Welcome!

Your modifications look great and promising. Have not had a chance to set up profiles to see what it can do yet.

I urge you to submit your modifications as a Pull Request to the Gramps\addon-source repository making your modifications an integral part of the view.

As it stands now, if/when other changes are made to Graph View, if a user has your modification as it is now, your modification will be totally overwritten.

Maybe after a certain testing period without too many errors

I think it would be better to modify Graphview with a better choice than Gancanvas, which is not supported in Gtk4.
After that, we will be able to implement new features.
