Problem accessing external USB HDD with Gramps Snap

Hi,

a user reports a problem accessing data on an external USB HDD when using the Snap install.

Could that be due to additional dependencies missing in the Snap?

OS: Cinnamon 6.4.8, Kernel: 6.14.0-35-generic

Gramps: 6.0.6

To access removable media, the interface needs to be connected first by typing:

sudo snap connect gramps:removable-media

Is there also a solution for MX-Linux for that problem. I installed Gramps flatpak
