I merged a family tree maker gedcom and in the process of cleaning everything up. I’m merging duplicate citations and need to merge source IDs that use a specific citation ID. Can someone help me out with this?
I don’t understand exactly what you want, but to merge two sources you must first make sure that one of the two no longer has a citation linked to it if that’s what you’re trying to do.
Sorry I wrote that short after waking up, brain not fully awake. What I meant to say is find all my census events that are linked to a specific citation to merge them like when you do a paste from the clipboard.
Lol. It’s more clear now.
Note the citation Page and Date and filter with this information using the Event with the <citation> filter in event filters. Optionally add the Census type to it.
