Increase the Wait in Gramps "Not Responding" dialog with "Force quit"?

Is there any way to tweak the wait interval for the dialog that says Gramps is not Responding? (Long processes that have a progress dialog… or add a progress gauge in the statusbar… prevent this dialog from appearing.)

After clicking the Wait, the dialog (or even TWO copies of it) appear immediately.

The "Gramps" is not responding dialog on your Fedora 37 system is generated by the GNOME Shell (or the Mutter window manager) rather than the Gramps application itself. GNOME monitors application responsiveness, and if an app doesn’t respond within a set timeout (usually 5 seconds), it triggers this dialog136.

This behavior can be adjusted or disabled by modifying the check-alive-timeout setting in GNOME’s Mutter configuration using tools like dconf-editor or gsettings 16.
