Gramps 5.2.3 on MacOS 13.7
In most of the notes I create I add an internet address. To have this URL handled correctly I have to mark the text, clik the link icon, select internet address from the drop down list, remove the ‘https://’ and copy the URL text (it’s automatically in the buffer, so I don’t need to manually copy the text).
So as the URL text is already in the buffer, why not copy the text into the internet address field autamatically, when ‘internet address’ is selected from the drop down list?
All this should be possible just by marking the text and clicking a URL button, similar to marking text bold or underscore.
