Import from (Excel/LibreCalc) spreadsheet

Gramps 5.2.3 windows 11. Are there any Excel spreadsheet family tree templates that can be used with gramps?

Have you seen Gramps 5.2 Wiki Manual - Manage Family Trees: CSV Import and Export - Gramps ? You can copy the CSV example from the page and use it as a template.

I also created a streamlined 3 generation (self, Parents, Grandparents) LibreCalc (its .ods file format is compatible with Excel) spreadsheet.

After you set the CSV Dialect configuration option to “excel-tab”, you can copy the Excel sheet cells and paste into the Import Text

It is better to look at the 5.2 page. The configurable delimiters were not added until 5.2 release:

The 3-generation spreadsheet is still a “work in progress”. Spreadsheets cannot be attached to Discourse forum postings.
