I have a large stash of personal letters I would like to attach to people. I can’t seem to come up with a good way to do it. Any suggestions?
I’ve tried one thing with a document I was given recently. If you have a scanner, scan it to a pdf file or an image (jpg, gif) file. Then add it as a new media object. On my website (https://www.dennett.org) you can see it at Dennett Family History - Media - Dennett Family. Once it’s a media object you can attach it to individuals.
I just got this a couple of weeks ago and this is what I tried first. Don’t know if it’s the best way so I’d be interested to hear what others have to say.

Adding it as an image in a media object is one thing. I suggest to transcribe it, too (maybe using Transkribus). Then add the text to the media object. That media object should be linked to the sender and the receiver of the letter.
