How do I make a Timeline graph of

This is a little different… a person in the Technology for Genealogy posted a graphing objective. She wants to generate a timeline bar chart & map of data for a person… their ownership of multiple properties over their lifespan.

I asked ChatGPT to generate dummy GEDCOM 5.5.1 data for fictional locations in Georgia, US. It mangled the GEDCOM multiple times. So I had it reformulate its data based on a sample Gramps export.

I can’t think of a way to get timeline graph.

Generating the map was a bit painful. It would not plot Property Events so they had to be changed to Residences. Then had to use the “Have they been able to meet?” view mode… then to get the circles (it looked bare without them), had the “Choose and bookmark” target persons from the context menu.

ChatGPT’s first attempt was really off. As a technical tool, it has proven totally untrustworthy. Not bad as a writer of targeted tutorials that read well but shouldn’t be trusted without careful proofreading.

It identified the codeblock as sql rather than GEDCOM. It was also mangled enough to throw lots of errors.
