Help->About gives old version of Gramps

It looks as though I have installed Gramps incorrectly.

I have just downloaded and installed 5.2.3 replacing 5.2.1; the target in the Properties field is “C:\Program Files\GrampsAIO64-5.2.3\grampsw.exe”, this file has a timestamp of 16/07/24 23:36.
But the about dialog gives
GRAMPS: AIO64-5.2.1-r1-cdec38e
Python: 3.11.8
BSDDB: 6.2.9 (6, 0, 30)
sqlite: 3.45.2 (2.6.0)
LANG: en_GB.UTF-8
OS: Windows

And the source editor Has “Title” for repository but the release notes for 5.2.3 say “Change repository “Title” to “Name” in the source editor. Fixes #13258.”

What am I doing wrong please?

Double check that you are launching Gramps using the current (5.2.3) shortcut. If you have pinned the shortcut to your task bar it may still be the old version.

When Gramps installs a new version, it does not overwrite or delete any previous versions. Your C:\Program Files\ folder should have the various Gramps installs. There are Uninstall apps in each folder that will delete older installs.

Your databases are NOT stored with the program files so will not be deleted. That being said, make sure to have a backup of your database (always a good practice).
