GraphView 1.0.121 is broken (at least on for me)

Gramps info:
GRAMPS : 5.1.3
Python : 3.8.5 (default, Aug 25 2020, 10:13:21) […
BSDDB : 6.2.4 (4, 8, 30)
sqlite : 3.18.0 (2.6.0)
LANG : fr_FR.UTF-8
Système : Darwin
Distribution : 19.6.0

When installed, GraphView 1.0.121 causes permanent launch of new Gramps instances, which exit, then relaunch, then exit… Extremely painful to kill (only by multiple force-quits) Version 1.0.120 is OK for me.

Thanks for the heads-up. Made sure I had backup of the 1.0.120 version before the new upgrade.

I too had an issue and added my error report to your bug #12222

For DaveSch (at least);
It looks like the new “All connected” functionality (button at top of view) has an issue if the connections contain a loop. This is different than when your tree contains a loop, as connections are much deeper than just ancestors/descendants.

For now I would advise making sure that this button is not depressed.
If you are having an issue with getting Gramps running due to a recurrence of this issue, I’d advise editing your
“C:\Users\you\AppData\Roaming\gramps\gramps51\Ancestry_graphview.ini” file and disabling the “graphview-show-all-connected” setting by commenting it out or setting the value to 1.
