Trying to view all known places for a family map I got this:

Is it a known bug? No window is displayed to report the error.

The best way shoud be to write a bug report.

Okay, I’ll open a bug report. Or two one for the bug itself and another one about the Gramps bug report wich had not intercepted that bug to ask me to create a bug report in bug tracker
