Filter that can use the Place Attribute "Type"

Looking to filter out places dependent upon type there appears to be no immediately obvious way of doing this or maybe I am missing something.

GRAMPS: 5.1.6
Python: 3.10.12 (main, Nov 20 2023, 15:14:05) [G…
BSDDB: 6.2.9 (5, 3, 28)
sqlite: 3.37.2 (2.6.0)
LANG: en_GB.UTF-8
OS: Linux
Distribution: 6.5.0-28-generic

This is not very convenient in use but you can filter places by type via right sidebar (1). Then click “Tag selected rows” and add any tag for filtered places (2). And then you can create own filter by tag. Is it what you expecting?

Possible but not what I am looking for the Tag is already there it is
called Type
So I need to Filter on Type then Filter on places enclosed by the Type
Filtered Places I would then export this in .csv and use it for a report

Have you tried using the “Places matching parameters” rule?

Yes that works to find a level in the place hierarchy but I cannot then
use that filter to find the all the places the next level down enclosed
by those places
Example
Registration County (Type) Lancashire
Will have numerous Registration District (Type) Manchester
Will have numerous Registration Sub District (Type) Hulme
So the structured list I want is
Lancashire
Manchester
Hulme
Chorlton
.
.
Bolton
Bolton North
Bolton South
.
.
.
.
And so on

Got this one sorted as well, as part of my place hierarchy I have an Artificial Place named “Registration District of” this then appears in the “Title” a simple filter on this and “Export View” to .csv gives me a report that needs little more work.
