Is it possible for the Place Report to include Events from all of the Enclosed places in one list?
I realise that I can add multiple Places in the Report Options but this separates the Places in the Report.
You would want to set a filter for the report and not supplying individual place records to the report.
The Place filter would be **Places enclosed by another place**where the Id is the desired location. Remember to check the box to include the location itself.
If the place is Boston, any place enclosed by Boston will be included.
There was a recent thread looking for the people living on the same street.
The report still separates the events into sections for each of the enclosed places.
In hindsight, the report design isn’t really suited for what I want to do.
For example:
- (date) (person) (event) (description) (place)
- (date) (person) (event) (description) (place)
- (date) (person) (event) (description) (place)
Does a report like this already exist?
It sounds like you are looking for an event report filtered by a common (enclosed) place, which does not exist as far as I know. You could create a custom filter for enclosed places, then reorder the event view columns and export the view to match your desired style.
