I am looking for a way to display DNA match data for all my matched cousins in a Chart View (for example, shared cM and number of matching segments). Right now, the only data displayed in each box is name, birth and death dates.
Any suggestions?
Are you looking for something like the DNA Segment Map addon gramplet for the People category?
Do you mean the Pedigree Chart view, if so then no as the view currently is; but the relevant feature request is 0013132: Extend views/reports with additional event-types like religion, occupation, etc.
Thanks. I want to display the DNA match data on a Chart view so I can visually see relationships between my matches.
My “dirty” workaround is to enter the DNA info into the Date of Death field. This sort of works, as most of my matches are living, so the field is otherwise empty. Problem is using inappropriate fields for data can lead to problems with various sorts, tools and reports, not to mention some matches have recently died, and for them I really need the Date of Death field.
