Gary, you are great! Your tweak helps me to generate a printable report with readable pictures!!!
Here is my workaround which I still will optimize, but is sufficient for now.
- I changed line 966 and 991 (in my case) to the recommended values.
- I made a new template in the format editor and set width of column 1 to 100% and column 2 and 3 to 0%.
- I created a Open Document Text instead of PDF directly.
- I opened the ODT and inserted manual page breaks at the bottom of each picture. So every footnote starts at the top of the page. This does not work automatically with PDF generation but is still to be tested and optimized by me.
- Finally I change the font to a unique one and made the PDF with Libre Writer.
This is for the moment an acceptable workaround, but I try to optimize because it will bother, the more source pictures are included… I expect 1000+ pictures in the future, so workaround should be acceptable before creating lots of data.
