How different do the “Other” have to be from “unknown”?
Could they be the same icon, just that “unknown” have a huge question mark in its face?

These are very different designations, so the avatars should very different too.
Researchers need to do more works to resolve an “Unknown” gender. But an “Other” indicates completed research on that person’s gender.
So he wasn’t particularly helpful lol, of course he recommended that there should be an option which has the non-binary symbol, as far as keeping with the current profile picture style he suggested that a dual picture containing both the woman and the man as one person could be an option. I will see what I can do. I have also thought on it and there are some non-binary historical figures that are known so maybe I could draw on some of their sillouhettes as well.
There is an update to the Graph View available for 5.2.
@GaryGriffin merged my changes so users can set avatars for Unknown and Other genders. Currently the Modern theme has the four avatars although if you choose Custom, you can set all for genders with your own .png
files.
I had hoped to add four more folders under avatars; Female, Male, Unknown, and Other with a collection of avatars for each gender. So far all I added were thick and thin versions of the gender symbols. I’ll get those uploaded.
