Announcing "Biography - Complete" quick view report

Started a experimental mashup fork of the Biography Quick Report and the Complete Individual Report. (Currently available from my Experimental Addon repo. Filter for EXPERIMENTAL status.)

I’ve run out of tokens for the next few hours but the current version expands the content to included more of the Complete Individual Report. Some of my tweaks fight with the Narrator… so it is currently disabled. (I hope to get back to using that built-in. It speaks a bit more naturally and can use pronouns. But that probably needs some work anyway since the addition of “other” gender and requests for an expansion about neopronouns and Pronoun Sharing / Pronoun Normalization.)

It does use alternative and Common names more fluidly than the Narrator. And the Place hierarchies have been made less repetitive.

I like this! This is a feature that could/should be added to every report that honours the privacy flag.

The fact that this adds complexity is one thing; dispensing with it in favor of a fully automated process is quite another.

One could envision a series of “Biography” notes - placed wherever needed to summarize information (such as multiple “military service” events for an individual) - designed to tell a story rather than relying on automatic interpretation. Each note would consist of a normalized title followed by the wanted content. By aggregating these scattered notes into a “Biography” attribute linked to the individual, the automatic biography generator could then insert the note contents at the appropriate points of its report (placeholders defined in some json/xml file associated to the addon, which could be different for a person biography and a family biography) using each note title to know in which placeholder put its content.

And of course, a mix of information automatically pulled from the person or family data and details from the notes would be great.
