Feedback from beta testing.
The current beta test version is 5.2.0-beta1.
Please clarify the ‘official’ approach to a beta test.
The following automatic email from GitHub included " 4a1322a Bump to 5.2.0-beta2"
Is the version in public test going to be a ‘moving target’? Or is that in anticipation of a 2nd phase beta after beta1?
The about box on my test shows “5.2.0-41720c5a7” for the version. But I am using GitHub Desktop. Do I need to stop using GitHub and do a manual install … or wait for the maintainer of my preferred Installer package to create an update?
