Running version 5.2.2 on Windows 11. I go to export around 1100 places into a CSV file and the client freezes and has to be forced to close. It was working in versions before 5.2.
There was an update to the CSV import for v5.2 in pull request #1629. There have been no major changes to the export.
Are you using the Place view export? Or the Export from the Tree?
(Might this be related to viewing about 1000 records at a time?)
You might want to using the Isotammi XML export that allows exporting just the Place Tree. Then import that and use the full tree export to CSV instead of the view export.
Only trying to export from the tree. I did not know there was another option. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will get it a shot.
